From hospitals to ambulances: the scale of destruction of Ukraine's medical infrastructure.


Ukraine's civil infrastructure, including healthcare facilities, is constantly under attack from Russia. According to the Ministry of Health, as of July 1, 2025, damage or complete destruction of 2,384 facilities within 781 healthcare institutions has been confirmed.
The most affected regions are Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, and Kherson. In particular, 278 emergency medical vehicles have been destroyed, another 131 have been damaged, and 80 vehicles have been captured by the enemy.
Russian attacks on Ukraine's civil infrastructure, including healthcare facilities, lead to significant material losses and pose a threat to the lives of the civilian population. Authorities must take immediate measures to protect civil facilities from such attacks.
Ukrainian civil infrastructure, particularly healthcare institutions, suffers significant damage due to constant attacks from Russia. This causes serious problems for residents of the regions most affected by hostilities. Authorities must urgently take necessary measures to protect the civilian population and restore damaged healthcare facilities.
