The Charity Fund 'Ukrainian Power' supported the International Forum 'Veterans - the Way Home' in Lviv.

The Charity Fund 'Ukrainian Power' supported the International Forum 'Veterans - the Way Home', which took place from November 26 to 28 in Lviv. Veterans, representatives of public organizations, government authorities, psychologists, and international experts joined the event.
Participants discussed the development of veteran policy in Ukraine and exchanged global practices. More than 400 participants discussed topics such as veterans' rights protection, their economic independence, rehabilitation, social adaptation, and support for the families of the deceased, missing, and captives.
The Forum presented and discussed a Roadmap for the development of veteran policy at the state and local levels. It outlines the priorities and steps needed to provide adequate support for veterans at all levels.
Participants also had the opportunity to take part in the Iron Eggs sports festival for veterans and visit exhibitions of veteran art, business, and innovative projects.
'Veterans will face physical, psychological, and social challenges upon returning to peaceful life. Helping them overcome these challenges is the moral obligation of each of us. This will contribute to their reintegration into society, improving their quality of life and strengthening trust in the country,' believes Yaroslav Maiboroda, head of the Charity Fund 'Ukrainian Power.'
The event was co-organized by the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights, the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, and the Inter-Factional Deputy Association 'Rehabilitation Forces of Ukraine' with the support of the USAID 'Council: Next Generation' Program, the International Organization for Migration, the UN Development Program in Ukraine, and other partners. Partners of the 'Ukrainian Power' Fund include 'YaroSad' and 'Solяra' companies.
