ChatGPT drastically influenced one category of job vacancies.

Since November 2022, when the ChatGPT chatbot took a narrow path, the number of opportunities for those just starting their journey in the labor market has sharply decreased.
The Times spread this news, referring to the publication 'Glavcom'.
According to a study by Adzuna, the number of offers for interns, graduates, and newcomers in fields without work experience decreased by 31.9%. The share of such vacancies in the labor market has decreased by 4% compared to 2022 and now constitutes only a quarter of the total mass.
The impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market
BT announced plans to replace 10 thousand jobs with artificial intelligence by the end of the decade. The cuts will primarily affect positions related to call handling and network diagnostics. The company's CEO, Allison Kirkby, noted that the development of artificial intelligence could lead to even larger layoffs.
According to experts, artificial intelligence technologies could lead to the reduction of half of all entry-level office positions within the next five years, which could result in a 20% increase in global unemployment. Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis believes that despite artificial intelligence taking jobs from people, it also creates new, important opportunities for employment.
The labor market is gradually changing due to the influence of artificial intelligence. Job vacancies for newcomers without work experience are becoming increasingly rare as companies move towards process automation. This could lead to job cuts and an increase in the unemployment rate. However, experts also see this as an opportunity for the development of new areas and innovations in the field of employment for people.
