France sharply condemned the night attack by Russia on Ukraine and gave advice to Putin.

Condemnation of Russian Aggression
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot expressed strong condemnation regarding the night attack by Russia on Ukraine on the night of June 17. He stated on social media about the inadmissibility of Kremlin's actions.
“The lethal attack in Ukraine by the regime of Vladimir Putin, whose cruelty and cynicism truly knows no bounds. Kremlin, which wants to establish peace in the Middle East: start with Ukraine.”
According to Barrot, Russia, which speaks of peace in the Middle East, must first end the war in Ukraine. It is worth noting that the attack carried out by Russia was one of the strongest in 2025. Its consequences were felt in Kyiv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and other regions.
Moreover, the power of the attack was highlighted by at least 440 Shahid kamikaze drones and no less than 32 missiles of the X-101 type, Kinzhal, and ballistic Iskanders, launched from Russia.
Summary: The head of the French Foreign Ministry made a resolute statement condemning Russia's aggressive actions against Ukraine. The attack that occurred in June received high marks for its scale and the danger it poses to the region.
