Hasek criticized WTA, ATP and France for the participation of Russians in the Roland Garros.


The legendary Czech hockey player Dominik Hasek criticized the participants of the 'Roland Garros' tournament for the participation of Russian athletes who did not condemn the Russian aggression in Ukraine. According to Hasek, the participation of Russian athletes in the tournament has become an advertisement for the Russian war and other crimes, including the genocide of Ukrainian children.
“Every sporting event and every country that allows this advertisement should pay Ukraine billions of euros for this, although, unfortunately, this will not restore human lives,” wrote the hockey player.
It is known that Hasek has been actively opposing the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes in international competitions since the invasion of Russia into Ukraine last year. He is an Olympic champion and recognized as one of the best goalkeepers in NHL history.
Mirra Andreyeva supports pro-Putin organization
The sixth-ranked Russian player Mirra Andreyeva expressed her support for the pro-Putin organization 'People's Front', which helps the occupiers.
