Ireland offers $92k for moving to picturesque island.

The Irish government has proposed financial assistance of $92,000 for those buying property on the islands of Ireland. The program aims to revive communities on the islands and ensure their sustainable development. Under the program, the buyer must purchase vacant houses on the islands and carry out renovations, which will last approximately 13 months. Financial aid will be paid out after the completion of the renovation and confirmation that the house is ready for habitation.
A video on the Magnify YouTube channel provides an example of the Arran islands, which once had a large population but lost it. The government offers financial support to revive these and other beautiful places in Ireland.
Over the course of 10 years, the program will focus on creating stable and dynamic communities on the islands. Irish coastal islands, with limited access due to tides, hold great historical significance for the country and now have the opportunity to revitalize old times with new residents.
This program has led to an increase in property prices on the islands. Some local real estate agencies report that the value of even old houses has significantly increased since the launch of the program.
Similar initiatives are being implemented not only in Ireland but also in Italy, where, for example, a small village offers up to 30,000 euros (about 25,000 pounds) to attract new residents. These initiatives attract both local and foreign buyers, many of whom are interested in the idea of a secluded life in a natural environment and the opportunity to work remotely.
