ISW: The Kremlin is set to raise a war generation through patriotic programs.

Putin discussed the use of patriotic programs for youth
Russian President Vladimir Putin convened with the Security Council to discuss the use of military-patriotic programs for youth. According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Putin is using these programs to prepare future soldiers of the Russian Federation.
Putin emphasized the importance of the Russian Youth Movement and Yunarmiya, aimed at raising military-patriotic consciousness among the youth. It was also noted that students receive weekly lessons with lectures about the events of the Ukrainian conflict.
“Putin's remarks at the Security Council meeting on June 10, apparently, indicate a return to rhetoric about the diversity of Russia and Russian civic nationalism. However, Putin is likely attempting to spread anti-Western and war sentiments, particularly among Russian youth, perhaps to prepare Russian society for a prolonged war in Ukraine and a possible conflict with NATO.”
Analysts point out that the Kremlin is actively preparing Russian society for a prolonged armed conflict with Ukraine by issuing decrees that develop the country's defense-industrial complex.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed outrage over such actions by Russia, emphasizing the need for peace and conflict resolution through dialogue and negotiations.
During the meeting with the Security Council, President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed the use of military-patriotic programs for youth, confirming the Kremlin's strategy for developing anti-Western sentiments among Russian youth and preparing for possible military conflicts. The President of Ukraine responded to these actions by issuing a statement about the necessity of resolving the conflict with Russia through dialogue and negotiations.Read also
