New gas tariffs: what has changed?

July began with changes in gas prices in Ukraine. According to GazPravda, new natural gas tariffs have sharply risen and now stand at 30.55 hryvnias per cubic meter.

There are nine gas suppliers operating in the market for households, five of which offer a choice between monthly and annual tariffs. In July, monthly prices range from 8.46 to 30.55 hryvnias per cubic meter, indicating a significant increase compared to the previous month. However, annual tariffs remain stable, ranging from 7.79 to 9.99 hryvnias per cubic meter.

'For more than 12 million Ukrainian households, the main gas supplier remains the company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine'. They have the opportunity to take advantage of a fixed tariff of 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter for the coming months', - the article notes.

Consequently, consumers are advised to be prepared for rising gas prices in the future and to keep this in mind when planning their expenses.

The increase in gas prices in Ukraine in July was marked by a rapid rise in monthly tariffs, while annual prices remain stable. The largest number of Ukrainian households are allowed to take advantage of the fixed tariff from the main gas supplier 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' in the coming months.
