The Marine Returned from Captivity on His Birthday.


As part of a prisoner exchange, on April 19, defender Dmytro Chornyi from Kropyvnytskyi, who had spent almost three years in captivity, was released home. This news was shared by Diana Shchykot, Dmytro's fiancée. On the day of the exchange, the warrior turned 23 years old.
Diana reported that Dmytro served in the marine corps in Mariupol and was captured at the Ilyich factory. Throughout the three years, Diana participated in actions supporting the captives and is very happy about the return of her beloved home. Now Dmytro will undergo rehabilitation, after which Diana will happily visit him.
It is also known that 277 Ukrainian soldiers returned from captivity, among whom were representatives of various military formations. Many of them are young soldiers born after the year 2000. The return of the captives was marked by cheers of support and joy from relatives.
