MOH talked about the new free service for military and veterans.

The state not only treats the wounded but also compensates for other medical services. This was stated by the first deputy minister of health Sergiy Dubrov in an interview for 'RBC-Ukraine'.
According to Dubrov, the program to provide prosthetics for defenders' teeth only started in the spring of 2024.
'From April 2024, the project of dental prosthetics started for them, for which financing in the amount of 750 million UAH was provided in the budget. Later we saw that this service is in very high demand, and there is still an urgent issue of treating the teeth of our defenders', - said the official.
The increase in demand for dental services among the military is connected by the first deputy minister of health with hygiene problems that are present on the front line, particularly due to low water quality. Therefore, the profile ministry took into account the high demand for dental prosthetics.
'We worked on this issue with the Ministry of Veterans, found financing for an additional package of services, and introduced a new service from June 13, which covers dental treatment expenses for our defenders. The maximum cost of services for one patient is 24,952 thousand UAH. As for prosthetics, the state covers almost 15 thousand UAH. So in total, a patient can receive free dental services in the amount of almost 40 thousand UAH', - says the deputy.
By the way, the implemented medical services include not only dental prosthetics. Now, services for simple and complex tooth extraction, tooth restoration without/with anesthesia and without/with canal treatment, tooth restoration including canal filling with anesthesia are also free.
