In Rivne region, a 13-year-old teenager was buried under sand, he died.


A 13-year-old boy died due to a sandslide in the village of Snovidovychi, Rivne region. His two friends were with him at the landfill at the Time. One of them ran to inform the adults about the tragedy, while the other tried to save his friend by digging through the sand.
Local residents tried to get the boy out from under the sand, but unsuccessfully. Law enforcement agencies have initiated an investigation into this tragedy.
The police urge to keep children away from dangerous places and conducts educational work with parents regarding children's safe behavior on the street.
It should be reminded that another fatal tragedy occurred in the village of Maidan in the Kovel region of Volyn, when a child fell into a grain storage facility.
It is also known that a rehabilitation center in Lviv region, which accepts vulnerable categories of orphans, has witnessed abuses against children. The center accepts children who require special care, including homeless children or those with special educational needs.
