The National Council called on the media to accurately cover mobilization and TCC activities.

The National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting urged Ukrainian media to adopt a "correct and professional" approach in covering "sensitive" topics of mobilization and TCC activities in Ukraine amid hostile propaganda.
The statement of the National Council notes that these topics become targets of informational attacks from the enemy, who actively focuses on spreading fakes.
"It is important for the media to distinguish truthful information from Russian fabrications and to provide only official and reliable sources. This is an important aspect of national security," the statement says.
The National Council emphasized that the enemy is trying to create a negative attitude towards mobilization and "demonize" TCCs and their employees, with the aim of reducing Ukraine's defense capability.
According to the National Media Literacy Project "Filter", the Russian government has allocated $1.6 billion for propaganda in the state budget. At the same Time, the informational efforts of the aggressor country are mainly directed at the Ukrainian audience.
The National Council called on the media to:
- adhere to professional standards, thoroughly verify information sources, especially when quoting foreign resources, and provide reliable information;
- avoid exaggerating the importance of emotional statements by TCC representatives, even when covering controversial detention cases;
- understand that many unverified messages come from social networks, so fact-checking is necessary for quality information.
Recall that the Rada is responding to mass TCC raids.
