NATO warns of a possible attack by Russia
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Russia may attack allies within three to five years, so Europe should be prepared. In response, alliance countries plan to increase defense spending from 2% of GDP to 5%.
One of NATO's greatest challenges is the military exercises 'Griffin Lightning'. The training includes equipment such as tanks, howitzers, attack helicopters, drones, and field hospital operations, which are a crucial element of defense.
In Lithuania and other Baltic countries, former Soviet missile depots are used as command centers for NATO allies and for storing medical and dental hospitals. These actions demonstrate the alliance's serious approach to Russian threats and its readiness to adapt to modern security challenges.
During the military exercises 'Griffin Lightning', NATO and European countries emphasize their readiness for possible Russian attacks, taking into account potential risks and threats to security in the region. As part of strengthening defense capabilities, an increase in defense expenditures is planned to prevent possible aggression and ensure stability in the region.Read also
