NBU said when card transfer limits might be lifted.

The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pyshnyy, stated that the limits on card transfers for Ukrainians could be lifted within one to two months. At the same Time, he emphasized that the limit itself does not solve the problem of drops, and its lifting is only possible with the implementation of comprehensive measures, including changes in legislation.
One of these measures is the creation of a special register to identify drops, the development of which is still ongoing. The head of the NBU also advocated for banks to independently improve their internal control systems using a risk-oriented approach and the principle 'know your customer.'
As of February 1, a memorandum came into effect that establishes the procedure for client verification for banks. Within a month or two, updated processes will be tested, and if they prove effective, the NBU will lift the limit of 150,000 hryvnias on card transfers, as promised.
It should be noted that Oschadbank previously warned about restrictions on money transfers.
