Ukraine has adopted new sanctions against Russia after the shelling of Kharkiv.
President Zelensky has signed laws extending martial law and mobilization.
The shelling of Kharkiv was one of the most terrifying attacks carried out by the occupiers. As a result of this attack, over 100 people were injured, and the city suffered irreversible damage.
Currently, law enforcement agencies have initiated a pre-trial investigation into the war crime.
As part of the repatriation measures, Ukraine has returned an additional 909 bodies of fallen soldiers.
After that, President Zelensky signed decrees imposing sanctions against Russian citizens. A total of 39 individuals and 60 legal entities are subjected to sanctions.
Among them are singers, athletes, and actors.
Sanctions include asset freezes, deprivation of state awards, and restrictions on trade operations.
Zelensky also signed laws extending martial law and mobilization, which will be in effect for the next three months.
This is already the 15th Time martial law has been extended due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
