Poland will build a special road to the border with Kaliningrad in 2025.

Poland plans to build a road to the border with the Russian Kaliningrad region next year. This will allow the Polish army to respond more quickly to potential security breaches. Maciej Duszczyk, Deputy Secretary of State at the Polish Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, reported this in an interview with the Financial Times.
Duszczyk noted that Warsaw will begin construction of this road in the coming months. In addition, Poland plans to close the border with Belarus and complete the construction of a border wall by next summer. He believes that this will significantly enhance the level of border security.
As is known, Poland has started building a wall on the border with Belarus to prevent illegal migration. This decision is linked to Russia's hybrid war. The completion of construction and additional infrastructure works on the border is planned by mid-2025.
Also, in Poland, a project called 'Eastern Shield' has begun, which involves the creation of military fortifications on the border with Belarus and Russia.
Newsweek magazine notes that in the event of a world war, Russia may attack NATO's eastern flank, including the Baltic States and Finland. Special attention may be directed to the Suwalki Corridor, which is a vital territory between Poland and Lithuania.
