Russia struck the market in Nikopol: there are casualties, four of them in intensive care.


The Russian army attacked the central market in Nikopol, resulting in eight people being injured. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, Serhiy Lysak, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
It is noted that the attack was carried out by a kamikaze drone.
As a result of this incident, six people were injured, including four women and two men. All of them were hospitalized, while the condition of three women is serious.
Eight injured
Currently, eight individuals have been injured. Seven of them are in the hospital, one woman is in critical condition, and three others are in serious condition.
The Russians attacked the market with a kamikaze drone. The trading kiosks sustained serious damage.
According to Lysak, significant damage was inflicted on the trading premises.
Rescuers, along with paramedics, provided assistance to the injured and transported them to the hospital.
Later, Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional council, noted that out of the seven hospitalized, three have already been sent home for treatment, while four remain in serious condition in intensive care.
Repeated attacks
Throughout the day, the Russian army attacked the Nikopol area more than 20 times. The communities of Marhanets, Myrivska, Pokrovsk, and Chervonohryhorivka were under fire.
Damage and destruction
By 6:30 PM, Lysak reported damage to infrastructure, administrative buildings, gymnasiums, businesses, and trading kiosks. Sixteen private houses, four outbuildings, a multi-story building, and cars were also affected. Gas pipelines and power lines were also damaged.
