Losses of the Russian army in the war with Ukraine exceeded 100 thousand people
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reported that the losses of the Russian army in the war with Ukraine since the beginning of the year have exceeded 100 thousand people, according to a message in his Telegram channel. He also thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their professionalism and resilience.
'Thanks to the united and professional work of our defenders, the total losses of the enemy in manpower since the beginning of this year have exceeded 100 thousand people. I thank Ukrainian soldiers for their professional combat missions and resilience,' he stated.
According to Syrskyi, the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to destroy the enemy along the entire front line.
According to data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of March 16, 2025, the losses of the Russian army in the confrontation with Ukraine amount to about 894,240 wounded and killed.
