How many parishes of the Moscow Church have joined the OCU? Rivne OVA reported on the last nine months.

The intimidation by the Russian church in Rivne region has been largely ineffective. In the nine months following the adoption of the law, only nine out of 469 religious communities joined the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Most of the church communities did not meet the requirements of the law and did not change their charters.
In Zhytomyr region, over the past two years, 22 religious communities of the Russian church have joined the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In Lviv region - three communities, in Khmelnytsky region - 20, and in Kherson region - only six. In Ivano-Frankivsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, there are no communities that have joined the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. In Sumy region - only one community.
Overall, religious communities are not in a hurry to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the law. Over the past nine months, almost no one wants to separate from the Moscow Patriarchate. This indicates that the law has a limited impact in Rivne region and other areas of Ukraine.
