The lineup of the Ukraine girls' national team for the UEFA Development Tournament in Croatia has been announced.

The Ukraine WU-16 girls' national team will participate in the annual UEFA Development Tournament, which will take place in Croatia. This was reported by 'Hlavkom', referencing UAF.

The Ukraine WU-16 girls' national team (players born in 2009-2010) will gain experience at the UEFA Development Tournament, which will be held from May 7 to 12 in Croatia.

The head coach of the blue and yellow team, Lyudmila Lemeshko, has published a list of 24 football players who were called up for preparation for the tournament.

Before leaving for Croatia, the girls will conduct a short training camp in Ternopil, from which 20 players will be selected to represent Ukraine in the competition.

The Ukrainian girls will face peers from Croatia, Hungary, and Morocco at the tournament. According to the regulations, each team will play three matches. A win will earn three points, and in case of a draw, a penalty shootout will be held, the winner of which will receive two points, while the team that is unfortunate in the football lottery will receive one point.

Recall that the first semifinal match of the UEFA Champions League 2024/25 season between London 'Arsenal' and Paris 'Paris Saint-Germain' took place on April 29 at the 'Emirates' Stadium in London.

In this match, 'Arsenal', for which Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko plays, lost to 'PSG' with a score of 0:1.

After conceding an early goal, 'Arsenal' tried to seize the initiative, and in the second half, Mikel Merino even scored a goal, which was later canceled due to offside after a VAR review.

'PSG' goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma saved his team several times, including after shots from Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli.

The return match will take place on May 7 at the 'Parc des Princes' in Paris. 'Arsenal' needs to win to advance to the final, which will be held on May 31 at the 'Allianz Arena' in Munich.
