The US assessed the possibility of 'taking' Ukrainian nuclear power plants.

The US is ready to manage Ukrainian nuclear power plants to achieve peace in Ukraine
The US is prepared to take over the management of Ukrainian nuclear power plants to achieve peace and end the conflict in Ukraine. This statement was made by US Secretary of Energy Chris Wright on Fox News. In response to a question about the US's involvement in managing Ukrainian nuclear energy to end the war, Wright stated that 'there are no obstacles, we can do this.' He also believes that the US has the necessary technical expertise to manage Ukrainian nuclear power plants without military intervention. The transfer of management to the US could become a step towards peace in Ukraine and the cessation of conflict.
The US Secretary of Energy also revealed that the administration of President Donald Trump currently does not consider the transfer of management of Ukrainian nuclear power plants to the United States. 'I don't think this requires our presence on the ground, but I will leave the resolution of foreign policy to President Trump and Secretary of State Rubio. I know they are working actively on this,' said Wright.
We remind you that White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt on March 19 read a statement from Marco Rubio and Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz regarding a conversation between the President and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in which they discussed Ukrainian nuclear energy. 'He (Trump) said that the United States could be very helpful in managing these plants due to its experience in electricity and utilities. American ownership of these plants would be the best protection for the infrastructure and support for the Ukrainian energy system,' the statement said.
