This escalation occurred against the backdrop of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestinian groups, particularly after the attacks on Israel in September.
Please note, on the night before October 1, Israel officially announced the beginning of a ground operation in Lebanon, focusing on the southern areas where «Hezbollah's» military facilities are located.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) declared a closed military zone in the area around three settlements on the border with Lebanon.
Incidentally, it was previously reported that about 300 people were killed and over 1000 were injured as a result of extensive Israeli airstrikes on «Hezbollah» in southern Lebanon.
