Ukrainians can get a 0% loan for the purchase of energy equipment: conditions.


Ukrainians have the opportunity to get a 0% loan for the purchase of a solar or wind power plant with energy storage systems. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
The state fully compensates the interest rate on the equipment loan. Financial support is provided to individuals who install generating units for the production of electricity from alternative sources in their households. Ukrainians are offered the following conditions: a 0% loan, a loan term of 10 years, and a loan amount of up to 480 thousand hryvnias.
Loan provision
To get a loan, you must contact one of the program's partner banks:
- JSC CB "PRIVATBANK"
- JSC "Oschadbank"
- OB "UKRGASBANK"
- JSC "SEMS BANK"
- JSC "CB "GLOBUS"
The number of partner banks will increase thanks to cooperation with the Entrepreneurship Development Fund.
Required documents
To get a loan, you need the following documents: a Ukrainian citizen's passport, identification code, income certificate, documents for the equipment you plan to purchase.
Use of power plants
After obtaining the loan and purchasing the equipment, the system must be put into operation. Compensation up to 0% annual starts from the moment the system is launched. The power plant can be used for personal needs or for selling excess electricity through self-production by signing a contract with a universal service provider (USP).
Loan repayment
Under certain conditions, monthly loan payments do not exceed 4 thousand hryvnias. After the loan is repaid, Ukrainians receive free electricity for 20 years.
"The installation of solar and wind power plants with storage systems will increase your energy independence, as well as contribute to the energy security of Ukraine!", emphasizes the Ministry of Energy.
