Ukrainian refugees will have a free opportunity in Lithuania for another year.

Ukrainians in Vilnius, Lithuania, will be able to use public transport for free for another year. This is reported by LRT.
The Vilnius City Council unanimously supported the extension of free public transport for Ukrainians who arrived in Lithuania due to the war.
This initiative has been in effect since March 2022, when tens of thousands of Ukrainian refugees arrived in Lithuania after the Russian invasion. Free transport applies not only to the capital but also to other major cities in Lithuania.
It is worth noting that despite the overall deterioration of attitudes towards migrants in Lithuania, Ukrainians are the most favored group. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Spinter Tyrimai for the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Representation in Lithuania.
Ukrainians received the highest score of favorability - nearly 7 out of 10
In second place are migrants from Belarus with a score of 5/10, and in third place are labor migrants from Central Asia with a score of 4.83/10.
