Will gas outage schedules be introduced in Ukraine? 'Naftogaz' clarified.


The CPD claims that the information about gas outage schedules in Ukraine due to the cessation of Russian gas transit is unreliable. 'Naftogaz' also refuted this information.
'Naftogaz' stated that 'information about the potential introduction of gas outage schedules is not true. Please remain vigilant and trust only official sources of information.'
The CPD emphasizes that this fake information is being spread for the purpose of disseminating disinformation.
The Center also notes that this fake is being spread in Telegram channels using a non-existent article in a Ukrainian publication. Users are directed to a Telegram bot to view this 'schedule'. This is clickbait and the use of misinformation and fake articles.
Starting January 1 at 07:00, Ukraine stopped transporting Russian gas to ensure national security. The country informed international partners about this.
The Czech Republic is ready to assist Slovakia in ensuring stable gas supplies after the cessation of Russian gas transit through Ukraine.
The European Union has begun to use its gas reserves due to cold weather and a decrease in maritime imports. A similar situation arose three years ago during the energy crisis.
