The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the information on the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of September 24, 2024.
Russia lost military potential
In total, the Russian Federation in the war with Ukraine as of September 24, suffered the following losses:
- about 645,150 (+1400) military personnel,
- 8800 (+16) tanks,
- 17,292 (+40) combat armored vehicles,
- 18,475 (+61) artillery systems,
- 1198 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems,
- 952 (+3) air defense systems,
- 369 (+0) aircraft,
- 328 (+0) helicopters,
- 15,764 (+65) unmanned aerial vehicles,
- 2595 (+0) cruise missiles,
- 28 (+0) ships/boats,
- 1 (+0) submarine,
- 25,175 (+73) units of vehicles and tankers,
- 3155 (+10) units of special equipment.
Activity of the Russian Navy
- No enemy ships, carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there is one enemy ship that can launch up to 16 Kalibr cruise missiles in one shot.
During the day, the following ships crossed the Kerch Strait in the interests of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea - eight ships, one of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus;
- to the Sea of Azov - eight ships, one of which was moving from the Bosphorus.
Currently, it is the 944th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
