According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the morning of Saturday, March 8, 2025, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses.
Updated losses of Russia in the war as of March 8, 2025
As of March 8, Russia has lost the following:
- personnel - about 883950 (+1000) individuals,
- tanks - 10268 (+4) units,
- armored combat vehicles - 21346 (+12) units,
- artillery systems - 24148 (+24) units,
- MLRS - 1307 (+1) units,
- air defense systems - 1099 (+3) units,
- aircraft - 370 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 331 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical drones - 28172 (+148),
- cruise missiles - 3120 (+35),
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) units,
- automotive equipment and tank trucks - 39791 (+113) units,
- special equipment - 3772 (+3).
Situation with the enemy fleet as of March 8
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship has been registered, which is a carrier of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles and can fire up to four missiles simultaneously;
- No enemy ships are present in the Sea of Azov;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, four enemy ships have been registered, three of which are carriers of 'Kalibr' cruise missiles and can fire up to 26 missiles simultaneously.
Over the past day, Russian vessels have addressed the following issues:
- to the Black Sea - one vessel that did not continue moving towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 0 vessels.
The full-scale war on the territory of Ukraine has been ongoing for 1109 days.
