Military salaries in 2025: what the salary in the Armed Forces of Ukraine depends on, increase in financial support.

Ukrainian servicemen receive salaries that depend on many factors, including position, rank, place of service, and specialty. Each year, salaries change and comprise several components, including the base salary, allowances, and bonuses.
In 2025, an increase in military salaries is planned in Ukraine, specifically an increase in the base salary by 10-15% for all categories of servicemen. Additionally, combat participants may receive additional combat allowances of up to 120,000 hryvnias per month.
Servicemen receive additional payments for length of service, participation in combat operations, fulfillment of particularly important tasks, as well as bonuses and one-Time payments. Moreover, they are provided with various benefits, such as discounts on utilities, free medical care, and housing programs.
In the event of a serviceman's death, his family is entitled to monetary compensation from the state and receives housing, education, and medical care benefits. A one-time payment is also provided to encourage new servicemen upon signing their first contract.
The Ukrainian government continues to work on increasing the salaries of servicemen and improving their service conditions. Planned measures include increasing the base salary, enhancing combat allowances, improving contract service conditions, and indexing salaries according to inflation.
Military salaries in Ukraine remain an important issue, and the government aims to ensure them a stable income and decent service conditions. This is important for strengthening the country's defense capability and motivating servicemen.
