The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a working meeting with the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov. They reported on the results of the negotiation work, as the Ukrainian leader himself announced on July 22 in Telegram.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council reported on the fulfillment of agreements reached during the second meeting with representatives of Russia in Istanbul. The parties agreed to hold a new round of negotiations in the near future. The President noted that Ukraine is ready to work productively for the release of captives, the return of abducted children, and the cessation of killings.

The head of the President's Office reported on the coordination of Ukraine's diplomatic efforts with partners in Europe and the USA. Zelensky instructed to form a Ukrainian delegation for the next negotiations with the Russian Federation, which should be led by Umerov together with representatives of Ukrainian intelligence, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and the President's Office.

It is worth noting that earlier Zelensky pointed to the upcoming meeting of Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Istanbul. Also, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha reported the readiness of the President of Ukraine for a personal dialogue with Putin regarding the end of the war.

During a working meeting with the heads of the President's Office and the National Security and Defense Council, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the results of negotiations with Russia, emphasizing Ukraine's readiness to work productively to resolve the conflict, release prisoners, and stop the violence. It was also decided to organize a new round of negotiations soon and to form a Ukrainian delegation for future negotiations.
