World Ice Hockey Championship: Where and When to Watch the Ukrainian National Team Matches.


The World Ice Hockey Championship in 2025 will be the main starting point of the year for national teams. This year, Ukraine will compete in the top division IA for the first Time, thanks to winning in division IB in 2024.
The championship will take place from April 27 to May 3 in Romania. During this period, 15 matches will be held in division IA.
Broadcasts of all matches will be available on the 'Suspilne Sport' website and TV channel.
Ukraine will compete for the right to play in the main division against Great Britain, Poland, Italy, Romania, and Japan. The two best teams from the group will be promoted, while the last place will return to the third strongest division.
Ukraine's team has already faced Poland and Japan several times and has experience playing against them. In the last four matches against the Japanese team, Ukraine lost (in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023).
Matches between the Ukrainians and the Japanese have been very competitive, so we have a chance to defeat our opponents.

The championship calendar includes 15 matches that will be held over five playing days (with breaks on April 29 and May 2).
