Demobilization for the AFU unnecessary? A servicemember sparked discussion online.

Ukrainian servicewoman Tetyana Chornovol stated that experienced warriors have a higher chance of survival compared to new recruits. She called on Ukraine to do everything possible so that the wish of service members to return home is not lost due to the desire for professional growth. This post generated many comments on Facebook, where it was published.
«In their majority, experienced military personnel have significantly higher chances of survival and victory over the enemy compared to freshly mobilized ones. So, I ask myself, should I return home if it might cost the life and health of 10 new recruits?», – she wrote.
Chornovol explained that society is divided into two categories: warriors and their families who want to return home, and civilians and their families who want to avoid mobilization.
She believes more resources are needed for the training of freshly mobilized into military service, for their arming and protection so that they do not fear death. However, this is not the main thing. For her, the main thing is that the new contingent is not more than a third of the experienced warrior to ensure successful work.
Chornovol believes it is important to do everything possible so that warriors want to return home and their desire for professional growth and success in work is not replaced by fear and misunderstanding. She listed what many lack: «Confidence that tomorrow you will not lose your life, that your skills will not be wasted, and that you will not be separated into different subdivisions. And most importantly - the understanding of the commander».
She said she can make warriors out of new recruits but for this, it is necessary to remove the fear of the unknown.
««Freshly mobilized» - this is potentially 200 people. But I believe in them and know how to make good warriors out of them if they are integrated into experienced groups. However, for these newcomers to become real resources for the army, it is necessary to remove the fear of the unfamiliar», – she notes.
Chornovol believes there is a mechanism that can reduce the fear of the unknown. She proposes allowing new recruits to choose the units they want to join: «This can easily be done by simplifying the transfer mechanism in the army. Let them go to the commanders they know or to those recommended by a friend. This is very important».
Social networks support Tetyana Chornovol's position and actively discuss her statements.
