The film crew of the project 'Donbass. Realities' fell victim to shelling on the Bakhmut direction during the shooting of the military. This was reported by Radio Liberty.
During filming, the work of FPV operators journalist Roman Pagulich and operator Pavlo Kholodov came under small arms artillery fire from Russian military.
A shell fell near Pagulich and the soldiers he was talking to. As a result of the shelling, the journalist received a concussion, and two soldiers suffered minor injuries. Operator Kholodov was not harmed by the fragments.
The injured were taken to a stabilization point where they received first aid. According to Pagulich, his ballistic neck protection vest stopped one of the shell fragments.
Currently, there is no threat to the lives of the injured soldiers and members of the filming crew.
It should be noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is searching for seven foreign journalists who filmed reports from the part of the Kursk region occupied by Ukrainian military.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded scholarships of the President of Ukraine to the children of journalists who died while performing their professional duties. The death of journalist Viktoria Roshchina in Russian captivity has been confirmed.
