After being wounded near Ilovaisk, he returned to the army again. Let's remember Ivan Talpa.


Holder of the Order «For Courage» III degree Ivan Talpa was killed in action on the Pokrovske direction.
Ivan Talpa was born in the Odesa region and graduated from the local school. He then studied at the Vocational Technical Agrarian School and at the National Academy of Land Forces. Talpa served in Mykolaiv.
After his service, he became a participant in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. During the battles near Ilovaisk, he was wounded.
Then Talpa joined the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign of the operational command «South» of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he continued to defend Ukraine.
He performed combat missions in Mykolaiv region, Kherson region, and Donetsk region.
Talpa was awarded the medal «For Courage III degree». He was killed on the Pokrovske direction on September 1.
Ivan Talpa was buried in Lviv. He is survived by his wife, son, mother, brother, and sister.

We remember those who were killed at the hands of Russian invaders, and we light memory candles. We bow our heads in mourning, extending bright memory to the heroes of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state. We solemnly honor all the military, civilians, and children, everyone who died in the anti-Russian war and due to the consequences of the aggressor's invasion.
