Teenager dies after being injured in RF attack on Sumy on June 3.


A 17-year-old boy who was injured during the Russian attack on Sumy on June 3 has died in the hospital. This information was reported by the Sumy City Council. According to doctors, they tried to save the boy for a week, but unsuccessfully.
«A 17-year-old boy who was injured as a result of the enemy shelling of Sumy on June 3 has died in the hospital. For almost a week, doctors fought for his life», – the official statement says.
In total, the death toll from this attack has risen to six. Russian troops struck at the city center, causing the death and injury of people. It should be emphasized that the occupiers hit five times, damaging a medical facility, cars, and houses. Four people died, and 28 were injured, including three children.
Reaction to the events
According to rescuers, a projectile hit the roadway in one of the city's districts, causing a fire in a vehicle. However, the fire was quickly extinguished.
Preliminarily, the Institute for the Study of War reported that Russian troops are focusing on expanding the front in northern Sumy Oblast in three directions. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky preliminarily warned that the enemy is trying to advance on Sumy, concentrating more than 50,000 soldiers in this region.
As a result of the Russian attack on Sumy, six people died, one of whom was a 17-year-old boy who did not survive after a week of fighting for his life in the hospital. According to authorities, the attack led to the destruction of a medical facility and outbuildings and injured 28 people, including children. President Zelensky warned about the concentration of a large number of Russian troops on the northern front of the region, indicating the enemy's intention to attack the Sumy region.
