The Supreme Court presented an updated version of the Legal Position Database, which has become accessible thanks to the EU project 'Law-Justice'. This system allows for the analysis of previous court decisions and facilitates the formation of unity in judicial practice.

The Legal Position Database includes decisions of the Supreme Court regarding national legislation, as well as decisions of the European Court of Human Rights that are considered part of national legislation.

Oksana Tsymbrivska, head of the 'Law-Justice' project, emphasized that the Legal Position Database has been improved and provides better search capabilities, as well as enhanced user functionality for mobile devices. It is also integrated with artificial intelligence and the Unified Register of Court Decisions. The Legal Position Database is part of the Ukrainian electronic judicial system and aims to ensure the unity of judicial practice.

The Deputy Head of the Supreme Court Office, Rasim Babanli, explained that the Legal Position Database is a powerful tool for judges, helping them find the necessary information to resolve court cases. He noted that the idea of creating such a system emerged in 2017 when more than 650,000 decisions had accumulated in the Supreme Court system as a result of the consideration of cassation appeals.

The technical solution for searching legal positions was launched in 2021 with the support of international partners. Since then, continuous improvements to the system's functionality have been made, taking into account new information technology possibilities and user needs.
